The movie is based on Clive Barker’s The Hellbound Heart and is listed in the top 100 scary movies of all times. There were 7 sequels to the original Hellraiser and it all revolves around a puzzle box. Anyone who solves the puzzle is chained to hooks as they bleed to death. The owners of the puzzle box are known as Cenobites and their leader is Pinhead, who became quite famous due to his look and his famous line “we will tear your soul apart”
