Ultraman Action Figures
Ultraman is a Japanese fictional character. He made his debut in 1966 in the tokusatsu or super hero TV series called Ultra Q: Ultraman: Special Effects Fantasy Series, which was a sequel to Ultra Q TV series. Ultraman was hugely popular in Japan and spawned a series of copycat cartoons and remakes that remain popular to date.
Known as the Original Ultraman, the first Ultraman was also referred to as Ultraman Hayata. One of the best features of this series was the way different monster costumes were used. These costumes are called kaiju in Japanese and created a sense of drama and emotions in the serial. With super action sequences, based on Martial Arts, the series was further developed to reflect more complex action, extravagant gestures, and other similar action moves. All in all, Ultraman became ultra cool and ultra popular prompting the release of Ultraman series of action figures that were enjoyed by children not just in Japan but also in North America. Today you can have your Ultraman action figure in soft, flexible plastic and enjoy fighting the monsters like Godzilla. Available in 5” to 12” sizes.
