Green Goblin
Known to many as a super villain, the character of Green Goblin was immortalized by William Dafoe in Spiderman as Norman Osborne. His son, Harry Osborne followed his father’s footsteps but in Spiderman 3, he almost became the hero. James Franco’s effort to save his childhood friends Peter Parker in Spiderman 3, the movie has thrown new light into the character of the Green Goblin. First introduced by Marvel Comics in July 1964, Green Goblin has always been the enemy of the friendly neighborhood hero – Spiderman. Green Goblin was born when scientist Norman Osborne injected a serum that enhanced his physical abilities as well as intellect. Using these new found traits and pumpkin bombs or grenades and the Goblin glider, Normal Osborne spread terror in the city of New York. The Green Goblin even made it to the “100 Greatest Villains Ever List” by Wizard Magazine.
