Mego

Mego action figures were one of the most popular line of toys back in the wonderful 70s. Today, Mego action figures as well as play sets are treasured collectibles. Many of them are so exclusive that people are willing to pay several thousands of dollars to buy them. Whether it’s the World's Greatest Superhero line, or the line of The Elastic Superheroes, there is a lot of spice, style, choice in Mego. In fact, a brand new Elastic Batman action fig sold for more than $15,000 in 2006! Then there are the doll lines that include the Wonder Woman line, the Cher doll dressed in exclusive outfits designed by Bob Mackie, and finally, the Kiss dolls that are must keeps because not many are available now and those who have them don’t want to part with them! The Mego Company also produced action figures from popular comics and movies such as Planet of the Apes, Star Trek, and the Wizard of Oz. All Mego action figs had been built with interchangeable heads and generic bodies. The figures are usually 8” in height.
