Spawn
Created by Todd McFarlane, Spawn is an unusual super-hero. Spawn appeared for the first time in May 1992 in Image Comics. Known as Hellspawn or The One by many, his alter ego is Albert Francis ‘Al’ Simmons. The birth of Spawn is a strange story and starts with Al getting killed by his boss because he knew too much about his corrupt activities. He was sent to hell but he made a deal with Devil Malebolgia to become an undead hellspawn in order to meet his wife. Since he came back to live among humans, he has been battling against crime and supernatural apart from trying to get out of the control of Devil Malebolgia. A dark character, Spawn has been portrayed as a Samaritan, a super-hero in comics, a HBO original Series, and the 1997 movie by the same name.
Spawn body and face is seemingly unpleasant and ugly and is composed of necroplasm and this provides him with durability and superhuman strength. He wears a symbiotic costume that is known as K7-Leetha and his accessories or weapons consist of spikes and chains, which are a part of his body and cape. Spawn is one of the few non-DC or non-Marvel comic characters to have enjoyed a lot of popularity and his action figures are a collector’s item.
